What is Occupational Therapy?
An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps develop, recover, or improve skills that are needed to complete everyday tasks.
For kids this may include:
- Grasping
- Writing
- Dressing and self-care
- Toileting
- Feeding and swallowing
- Sensory processing
- Self regulation
- Hand-eye coordination
When Should My Child See an Occupational Therapist?
- • If your child is having difficulty with fine motor skills, sensory processing, body coordination, visual processing and/or oral motor skills, including feeding.
- • If you would like to check if your child is meeting their fine motor skill development at an age-appropriate time.

Family Support for Children With Disabilities
We are happy to be FSCD providers! We collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech language pathologists, behavioral therapists, an occupational therapist, and a psychologist. We also provide physiotherapy services for PUF through the collaboration with preschools.
