Does your child have a curve in their spine (scoliosis)? Are they complaining of neck or back pain? Do you constantly ask them to sit up straight?
A physiotherapist can help assess if this is a structural or muscular concern. They will provide exercises and treatment to help build strength and endurance to maintain good posture as your child grows.
Does your child complain of pain after activity? Have they recently suffered an injury? Have they broken a bone or had surgery?
Kids have unique injuries and healing timelines. Their bones and joints are not the same as adults and our experienced staff have the knowledge of how to treat injuries that are specific to kids. We can provide care to reduce pain, improve function, and get back to the activities that kids want to do safely and as quickly as possible.
Has your child had a recent concussion or hit their head? Are they tired, irritable, dizzy, or complaining of headaches?
A physiotherapist can complete an assessment and determine the appropriate treatments required for a safe and fast return to school and sport. This will include return to school and return to sport guidelines, hands on treatment, and a home exercises program.
