Dr. Alim Hirji was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He attended the University of Edmonton and Red Deer College where he obtained a background in Kinesiology, and a diploma in Adapted Physical Education. During his time there, he was a player and captain of the Red Deer College Kings soccer team. Dr. Hirji went on to the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, alongside his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Hirji is keen on specializing in various techniques to improve patient care. He has obtained his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, and is further trained in Graston Techniques, Soft Tissue Mobilization, RockTape Techniques, Concussion Management and Functional Movement Analysis.
Dr. Hirji enjoys creating elaborate and specific treatment plans for his patients, which include a wide array of techniques with a key focus on patient education and active care. Dr. Hirji takes an evidenced-based approach while creating a warm and challenging environment that allows his patients to get back to their best selves!
Outside of the clinic Dr. Hirji enjoys spending time with family and maintains an active lifestyle playing on the soccer pitch or on the golf course.
